<p>&#8212;  like it oversaw the financial industry?</p>
<p>&#8212;  or the billions in cash lost in Iraq on the roadside?</p>
<p>&#8212;  or paying 400.00 for a toilet seat</p>
<p>&#8212;  Oh yea like it oversaw the mortgage industry by relaxing SEC guidelines so fannie and freddie could make high risk loans that people would have no possible means to repay. </p>
<p>That&#8217;s definitely the type of oversight we need for the car companies. Their track record is so stellar in that regard. </p>
